Update on 0.3.2 Closed Release


I've been promising another test release before the public release (working towards late november). I added a lot of new features, which are still in testing and not quite ready to be completely released or implemented. Here is a list of what has been added since 0.2 test release!

Currently in Progress:

  • Day/Night Cycle
  • Item tooltips in inventory
  • Controls window in pause menu
  • Working Melee Weapons & Guns
  • Zombies now drop items
  • Aiming zooms in and out
  • Foraging - Harvest from berry bushes
  • Working hotbar
  • Tools work (Axe, Pickaxe, Hammer for specific resource nodes) (Ex: Axe for trees, Pickaxe for outcrops, Hammer for repairing)

  • Zombies are more receptive to player

  • Fixed lots of broken faces on environment props

  • Fixed weight painting & clothing animations
  • Added death animation for player & zombies


BugFixes:

  • Camera doesn't move when UI is open anymore
  • Fixed setting menu staying open on Esc
  • Fixed clothes clipping in FPS camera
  • Fixed players walking through walls
  • All UI disabled when player dies
  • Item dropping is fully functional
  • Inventory & Pause Menu no longer clash
  • Gun shooting recognizing target now works 10x better
